Waitlist is now open. In order to reach MVP, we successfully completed the first 8-week sprint plan on the software side and managed to build a basic but functional product.
Now it’s time to gather the first feedback. Through the waitlist and the survey, we’ll be collecting suitable applications for our closed beta tests.
The reason we exist as a company is to bring a new perspective to what the real problem in the music industry actually is. From where I stand, companies are focusing on the production side of music, whereas at no point in history was producing music the real problem. New tools increase speed, but they don’t solve the core issue. We’ll try to solve it.
In addition, another point that needs clarification — as I tried to express at the beginning of this post — is how important it is to get validation from the user themselves. That will absolutely be our main direction. We’re focused on building a product that people will enjoy using and, most importantly, one from which they will gain real “VALUE.”
When RockAgent launches, it may not shake the world. But I believe it will be loved over time. As someone who has been inside the music industry for 15 years, our main compass has been to build something we would genuinely enjoy using ourselves. Whether the market buys it or not — time will tell.
